BlackBerry Bold Registration Notification - MAKE IT STOP

Please help me before I throw this thing out the window.

 

On my route to work my phone feels the need to re-register my blackberry 4 times. 

I recently was forced to upgrade the software, and this is a new situation.  I can not find anywhere in the options to turn off just this notification.

 

Anyone have any ideas?  Black berry is sending me 8-12 messages a day just to tell me that my blackberry is registered!"

AngSeaWA, I can understand why receiving these messages constantly would be irritating. One thing I have seen with the new software is that these messages come thru whenever you switch to a different cell tower. To stop these from coming thru, go to Manage Connections, Mobile Network Options, Change Network Technology from Global Mode to 1X/EV. If you do travel out of the country, change it back when you leave.
