According to the Charge thread, a VZW technical resource even posted they are aware of the issue and Samsung is working on a resolution.
It's also ironic that three of their top end phones are having signal/data connectivity issues. Read through the other Verizon Wireless Community Android device forums and you'll see a lot of similar issues.
