Im Mobile Help

I'm trying to sign onto my aim account from my phone, but everytime I try to sign it it says: "Did not recieve response from IM server.Select Wait to continue or Sign Out." I have been trying for a while now and it still isn't working. I would appreciate any help.

Phone is the LG Cosmos 2.

Hello Dwar123,

Are you still experiencing issues with signing into Aim? Have you ever been able to sign into Aim or use your mobile web before? I only ask that question to try to eliminate the possibility of any blocks being on the account. If you can please let me know if you have not been successful so I may further assist. Thank you.

I can get on mobile web, but still cannot get on aim. I do not have anything blocked. So I still do not know the problem.

Hello Dwar123,

Thanks for sharing. May I ask what version of AIM are you using on the device? Are your text messaging working successfully? Some mobile IM apps have a reset option. Try the mobile IM reset by selecting the desired IM app & select options. Afterwards, select reset application then do a battery pull. Once you re-apply the battery and turn the device on, try to login again to the AIM platform. If these steps do not resolve the issue then please reply to this message so I can further assist.
