I need to find a Verizon phone that has an FM radio on it. I don't want a smart phone or to pay data. I just want a simple FM Radio on a phone that can be used for talk and text. Is there one???
Or, at least it needs to be a phone that will work on my Verizon plan. Any ideas?
My KIN 2 has it. Maybe the Kin 1had it? Not sure. Looks like the KIN 1 has it too from what I see on the web. Not a phone I would recommend though, but it's the only one, I believe, that Verizon currently offers that doesn't require a data plan.
I got fed up with my KIN 2 after 3 months and used an upgrade from another of my lines to go back to a flip phone. I forced myself to use the KIN all that time, and I'm sorry I did. Some people love them though. Now mine is a camera mounted in my vehicle.
In addition to goofy173's suggestion for the Kin, these are other non-smartphones for Verizon that I can think of that have a radio feature: LG Chocolate 3 * LG Chocolate Touch Nokia 6256i* integrated FM Transmitter so that you can listen to your stored music on any nearby FM Radio Receiver
The Nokia 6256i is a discontinued phone that might be available on ebay.
Beware the Chocolate Touch. Based on customer reviews, it's hard to tell long-term if it's a reliable phone.
