Any HTC application (camera, video, recordings, etc) are saved to the internal memory. When you plug in your usb and mount, you'll have 2 drives available (assuming you have the SDcard installed). You can copy all your movies and music to the internal drive too.
The main issue right now is that "internal memory" is new and not all apps support it. That's why Verizon gave us a free 2gb SDcard... for those apps that NEED the SDcard still.
How are you transferring contacts?
The certain way to get contacts into your phone is by exporting them from whatever and then importing them into gmail so they sync down to yuor phone.
There's at least 1/2 dozen different ways to get your contacts setup.

Can you offer detailed way to get them off an HTC Touch Pro??? I have no idea where to find them on the phone.
Oh, I see your problem now. I take it you didn't use backup assistant on your Touch Pro?
The Touch Pro is a WinMo, right? Cant you use your Windows Sync (Active Sync?) to backup your contacts to a .cvs file to the Windows Desktop? I know doing a Google search shows a few sites that can help.. one specifically was to Sync them to Outlook (then export to .cvs from there)...
Gmail can take just about any backup format and import them.
OK I finally have made my contacts into a .csv file.
Attel backup Assistant did not supprt the TouchPro. I did use PPC backup for contacts and texts, but I dont think I can use it to load what I want into the new phone.
Time for a beer. Then work on importing the contacts.
