Incredible 2 will not stop vibrating

I just purchased an Incredible 2 for my wife and 3 days later it will not stop vibrating. The only way to get it to stop is by pulling the battery. Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do to fix the problem? I hope to correct it before I have to take it to the store. Could this be a software problem?

Is there a pattern of when the vibration starts like messages, calls, email or when something to open?

I understand how frustrating this can be for you and your wife! Since posting, has the issue been resolved?

I wanted to let you and any other users of this phone know that this issue has been raised to HTC for review. No other information is available at this time, but I assure you that the manufacturer is aware of it.
