Family plans for data usage?
grouchonyy
I would like to see Verizon give a discount for multiple blackberries(or other PDAs) in the same family as they do with the existing family plans. Verizon already does it for business customers, why not families. My wife would upgrade to a blackberry if we both didn't have to incur $30 monthly data plan fees, in addition to the existing cell phone fees. Certainly not free, but a reasonable discount (half price for second and additional units?).

Only discount you could possibly get is check for an employer discount. Depending on the emplyer you can get up to 20% off the data.

That is the point I was trying to make. There is no equivalent discount. If Verizon gave that discount for family plans, at least it would save me $6 per month. It would be a start in the right direction. As PDA usage grows, and is encouraged by Verizon and others, the prices should come down.
