Casio Rock Memory Card Issues

Couldn't find anything by searching for this. I have a casio Rock that will not recognize or display/play file on the memory card.  It recognizes the card itself but not the files.

 

I tried downloading vcast onto my pc and transferred files to the card with it but it still will not recognize files of any kind, only files stored on the phone.  I opened vcast on the phone and did the "scan card" routine but no luck.

 

I did insert the card into the phone before starting and made sure the proper file headers were displayed on the card.  The files were transferred to the proper folders as well.

I understand how frustrating it would be not being able to access your media files on your device!  I would be happy to assist you!

 

First, had you previously inserted this same memory card into another device?  It may be a formatting issue.  I would suggest reformatting the memory card in your Casio Rock, just ensure you have your media files backed up on your computer before formatting the card.
