Samsung Fascinate still missing calls after update......

So, after reading so many of these posts, I am saddened to see that the "swap your Fascinate" policy is no longer in effect, yet a good majority of us are still experiencing missed calls. My husband tells me almost daily that he has to call me 2-3 times before I actually get it to ring once on my end. I'm also receiving voicemails without receiving any rings. What can be done?? I've done trouble shooting on my phone enough to be a master at it. Please help Verizon, we have been happy with our service to date, and don't want something like this to ruin it!!!! :smileysad:

3 days later and still no better. I did a factory reset AGAIN on my phone, started from scratch, and thought the problem was resolved...until I came into work this morning to find that my employer had attempted to call me yesterday, and also left a voicemail...which I received neither the call NOR the voicemail. I'll be calling tech support this evening when I have another phone to call from. The problem is, I hate having to go through all the steps that I've already done myself, but maybe I'll get a tech rep who understands how frustrating this is. I just want a reliable phone!!

I am having the same problem with my Fascinate (and this is the 3rd phone they have sent me). I do not get all of my text messages either. I just called Verizon AGAIN and she said I could buy a new phone if I wanted to change from a Smartphone to down grade. I had an LG Envy previous to this one and had no problems with getting calls and texts. I am very frustrated as well.

I have said this numerous times, I don't think it is just a Fascinate issue. I had a friend who had his Incredible sitting right next to him, and I called him twice from the next room, and it went to voicemail. I left him a VM on both, and then walked next door to see where he was. He was sitting right there, and the phone never rang. He touched his phone, bringing the screen back to life, and about 2 minutes later the VM's came through. No missed call indication, just never rang.

My husband has the Incredible (1st one) and it also happens to him from time to time. I don't know, I really don't want to leave and go to another carrier, but with both of our phones working only half the time, is unacceptable. Especially with 2 kids, neither of us can afford to miss any important calls.
