LG Cosmos 2 - Can't adjust screen brightness after latest firmware update

I updated the firmware to VN251ZV2, and now adjusting the screen brightness doesn't seem to have any effect.

Also, does anyone have a list of what the latest firmware fixed/changed? The LG site and Google-searching both came up with nothing.

Dav4783, are you trying to adjust the brightness up or down? Does the phone seem brighter or darker than it was before? Have you tried powering the phone off and then adjusting the brightness again?

In set up wizard, clock format, selecting preview of clock is OK, but there is no soft key to go back to clock format.
Fixed verbiage on popup messages to read as:
- "Use PC option to safely disconnect, before unplugging USB cable from the device."
- "PLEASE BE SURE TO SAFELY DISCONNECT YOUR DEVICE FROM THE PC BEFORE UNPLUGGING THE USB CABLE."
When you have a data session that is getting information the circle indicator should rotate in a circle, the red section should move around the circle showing user that it is getting data - it does not rotate.

Moved Erase option to Options and added a List option under Media Center > Pictures > My Pictures in the picture view.

Prior to the update, my brightness setting was set to Level 1. After the update, when I was looking around to see what the update has changed, I noticed in the brightness setting that it was set to Level 5 (which is the default factory setting) even though the screen clearly looked like it was still on Level 1. Adjusting it up or down has no effect even after powering off.

And thank you for posting the list of changes of the update. Is there a website with that info so that I can check on it during future updates?

OK I finally figured out what was going on. The brightness setting only seems to affect the backlight. I've always kept the backlight turned off which was why I couldn't see the change. It's still strange though because before the update the brightness setting would affect the screen even when the backlight was turned off.
