Cosmos touch browse & download page

Since I got my Cosmos touch phone, it has been nothing but trouble. 80% of the time when I unlock the phone, it goes into the browse & download page. Except for the sales guy going into that page to download my contact list, I haven't been in that page. I have the phoe replaced and checked by 7 different in stores reps and a 611 service tech. Everyone keeps telling me that they have never seen this and don't know why it is happening.

Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

I have been dealing with the exact same thing since April. I have spent hours talking to tech support, customer service representatives, and my local Verizon store. I have suspended Daily Scoop, blocked most of the data, and updated the software. And everyday when I unlock the phone it goes straight to the browse and download page. No one knows how to fix it, I guess. The other occasional problem I have is that at 2:10 A.M. the phone will come on and deliver a talking message--it wants me to open a gmail account. I love be awakened at 2 in the morning!

Toolman150, thank you for your expressing your concern over this issue. I have seen this issue several times on the LG Cosmos touch. At first it appeared to be Daily Scoop causing the issue, but after unsubcribing from the updates, this is still occurring. We have escalated this issue to LG and our product team and are investigating to see what would cause this issue.

The random appearance of the "Browse & Download" screen is happening on all 3 of my new LG Cosmos Touch VN270 phones. This is very annoying and also seems to be the cause of the display turning on. I have read reports all over the internet regading this isue. I hope Verizon and/or LG comes up with a solution. soon.
