Checking In on Facebook

I have the Samsung Rogue, I know it's so old! But I have a facebook icon that came with the phone, so I can just click on it and it'll bring me to facebook. Everything looks normal except there is no button to "check in" to places. When I got on my friend iphone it there under where you update your status. Why can't I do it on my phone??

It may be an older version of the app that didn't include "Places"? (total guess....) Maybe if you try deleting the app and reinstalling...

Also, to have "Places" work, you need to have GPS location turned on or enabled so Facebook can "see" where you are. I'm not sure where those settings are on the Rogue...

Those would be my first two steps - check that GPS is ON and then make sure the Facebook app is the most current one. If those don't get you going in the right direction, post back....
