LG Cosmos Touch

Just got an LG Cosmos Touch... all seems to be well...except the fact that it just seems to light up every minute or so...the bottom 3 buttons light up randomly all throughout the day....

 

Why is it doing that?  I dont have a data plan, and there are never any new text messages *forever alone* and i think i deactivated the Daily Scoop thing correctly...

 

Whats up with this?

I had the same problems.  No matter what I did to stop the Daily Scoop nothing worked and the phone continued to light up and at night it lit up the whole room.  I only used the phone for text and talk.   I was told to go with a phone that wasn't preloaded with the Daily Scoop so I got the Octane.  Even the new Cosmos 2 has Daily Scoop preloaded.
