Is there any news about when the software update for the extravert will be available?

Had the phone since November and can't send or receive media messages or go on the internet. Basically there doesn't seem to be enough memory, stripped the phone of all apps, pics,and music to free it up but still say's it full. Getting vague answers from Verizon and L.G of there will be new software soon. On the unlimited plan and can't use everything I'm paying for. Thanks

I can certainly understand how frustrating it must be to not be able to use your Extravert the way it is intended to be used, wilsonrjm.

The good news is that the low memory issue has been resolved with a new software update.

From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch Phone Info
Touch Software Updates
Touch Check New and it should then start the software update for you.

Once complete, you should have the new version VN271ZV4 on your phone.

Please go ahead and proceed with the steps listed above & let me know if it works for you.

Okay, i cannot update my software. I went to check new on my phone it says it is unavailable., I cannot go on the web with my phone or to face book..nothing that I am paying for. It says my memory is full but it isnt. I erased everything there is to erase and still cant. please help. I also trhe usb cord and all that and still nothing.

It does not work because of the software issue will not show you have internet to download to software how can we do it for website??

Hi! I just updated my phone minutes ago. What I did was I plugged my phone into the computer with the original cord that it came with. Then I waited for the red box to come up that showed CD DRIVE then you click run. After you click run and it downloads everything Launch Assistant will have been downloaded. Then when that pulls up I wait for it to check my phones info. Then I click update. Hope I helped!(:
