My Location is not working with GPS

My Location does not update when trying to use GPS or VZW Location but updates fine with Google Location services. It's not a problem with locating (seemingly), but that the phone won't even recognize that an alternative location service (to Google's) is selected at all. This occurs with Maps and Weather (don't use other geo locating apps).

Thoughts anyone?

I'm lost without my GPS programs, so I figured I'd reply to your post with the most likely suspects. There are specific settings on the device that control which GPS services can be utilized and which ones can't. To access this menu, go to Settings> Location. Check mark VZW Location Services and Standalone GPS Services. This will allow other apps aside from Google Location Services to operate correctly.

Some other general things you can try is dialing *228 Send > option number one, and you can also try pulling out the battery. It's general, but sometimes it helps.

Test that out, and please reply with your results.

I did this Suggestion as to see if it helped an any way i'll report in a Day or So but one thing it did Do it Updated my PRL an doing a Prl is a must as it keeps the phone updated to the Towers. so it does'nt hurt to do what MikeS Suggested.
