Samsung Intensity receiving duplicate texts

I called Verizon about this twice and both attempts did not fix the phone. I am wondering what I should do. When someone texts me, I will get the text anywhere from 3-6 times. It is getting quite old, as I am a regular texter. Does anyone know what I should do?

So is there any way that anyone can help me? It's still going on and I've already contacted customer service twice.

Aikenjp, thanks for your inquiry. I understand why this issue would be frustrating. Are all of your text messages duplicated? Is this happening when coming from different people? We would need to reset your text messaging from our system. If it is still having issues after that, we would either need to submit a trouble ticket or replace the phone.
