LG Octane Unread Calendar Event won't go away

Imported calendar events from Outlook (via LG Outlook Sync)

Edited calendar events in phone.

Exported them back to Outlook.

Somewhere in the process a calendar event started showing up on my external screen as unviewed. I have looked through all calendar events and it won't go away.

Any ideas?

Did this ever get resolved?

I am seeing the same thing. Except my situation is simpler. I enter calendar events right on the phone, the event occurrs and if I don't view it right away I can't get the calendar icon to go away.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm here to help KSeymour. It does't look like this is something that's been a widespread issue on the Octane. With a calendar alert, simply open the calendar event and press OK to acknowledge the event if the reminder passed and you didn't get a chance to accept or snooze the alert. If it continues, many times a weird quirk like this can be resolved by simply rebooting http://bit.ly/T3rNJU the phone.
