Extended Battery coming out

Does anyone know if this 2150 mah extended battery that is coming is going to make you change something on the phone to make it fit? I bought the silicone case and absolutely love it. I don't want to have to take it back and get something that makes the phone bigger.

seidio currently makes an extended battery for the motorola droid but you have to purchase an extended battery cover for it.

So far I haven't seen any extended battery that wasn't larger than the standard battery and required a larger cover. This in turn caused standard phone covers to be too small to cover the phone with the extended battery & cover in place.

There may be some phone somewhere that doesn't follow the above rule but if there is, I'm not familiar with it.
