Camera not working?

My camera used to work fine, but now whenever I try to use my camera it just shows black and then it crashes. Apps that use the camera don't work either, including flashlight apps that just use the flash. Does anyone know what's wrong or how to fix it?

Not offhand unless the hardware has failed.

Try a reboot - press the volume down and power buttons at the same time until it reboots.

If that doesn't do it, you could try a factory reset. :smileysad:

I'd also try uninstalling the app that uses the camera - the flashlight - and see if you still have a problem. There might be an issue there.

I had the same issue with the RAZR MAXX. I tried both apps, LED Light and Tiny Flashlight. Neither one worked and my camera also stopped working. I had to uninstall them to get the camera working again. And when I ran the camera or one of the light apps, I got a small blue notification window indicating the camera hardware was not functioning properly.

I'd really like to install the Tiny Flashlight app if anyone knows how to get around this.

You need to use Caution when downloading Apps Make sure they have good reviews an if in doubt ask on here because some apps could cause extreme paralysis in your Maxx an you might end up having to do a F.R. on it to fix any issue caused by the App an you sure don't want to damage it. Not going to say it can happen but i still would be Cautious when doing So. Written By B33
