Create Playlist is greyed out

I cannot figure out why I can't create a playlist on my Droid X through Backup Assistant Plus.  All of the documentation that I've read says that I can, but when I right click on my Droid X in the media pane, "Create Playlist" is greyed out and disabled:

Any ideas?

create it within the music folder. ba plus is new & has a few kinks.
