email stops working on razr maxx What do I I do?

i am new to android, apple for 4 years, i love the change. my email stopped working, I have contacted my email domain people and all is well on their side. The phone logs in but does not ask to receive mail just logs out. I have upgraded to ice cream sandwich OS. What do I I do?

Dear Google: Ice Cream Sandwich hosed a lot of people's ability to use email once it installed. To the user: your I.T. people will have to totally remove your email settings on your device, and then reenter them from scratch. I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon tech support and they cannot do this for you. Sorry; it's a "gift" from Google Android. I guess they are too busy creating new cool features to confirm that basic business applications will still work fine after the upgrade.

I understand the importance of receiving your e-mails. Let's get your e-mails working mpetrella! Did this problem start right after the software update? Which e-mail account are you having trouble with? Have you tried to remove and add the e-mail account back? Let's try that to see if it resolves the issue. Let me know how it goes!
