I bought a network extender for my home. It's hooked to an Apple Time Capsule wi-fi router. I also have a land line (non-Verizon) and DSL service. With the land line, we use cordless phones (DECT 6.0).
The network extender definitely boosted the cell signal in the house. But here's the issue: when someone is on a cell phone call and the land line phone rings, it causes the cell phone signal to cut out (during the ring), then disconnects the cell call entirely (even if you don't answer the land line phone). The opposite occurs as well (can't use both cell and land line at the same time).
Verizon tech support has opened a "case" (aka a "black hole").
Anyone have suggestions?
