Sd cards

I am receiving a replacement Razr Maxx because my old one got soaked. Can I take the SD card out of my old one and put it in my new one to avoid having to completely reset up my new phone? I know the SIM cards are not transferable but the SD cards are. I'm just not sure what imfo is stored on the SD card.

You Can Move the Sim Card to your Old Phone to the New One: But this is were i'm going to Stop you on both Cards you said your old Maxx got Soaked! Right that means the Card got it Too Do Not Take the Chance of sticking a Card that got soaked as Well in your New Maxx SD Cards are Not that High an you not Going T Loose that Much Getting a New One. Do you shop at Wallmart They Have a PNY 16 GB 10 Series Card witch is Great for fast Moving Apps an Taking Videos or Pictures. Another Place that has Some Good 10 Series Cards is Best Buy They Have a 32 GB SanDisk for $39.99 Dollars So there not to high to invest in another one..b33

soak the card in dry white rice for 24 hours & if you have a reader, try to access it with a pc/mac.

fwiw:

i inadvertently sent 2 automobile keys thru the washing machine.

popped the batt on 1, the other was sealed, couldn't find any rice so wrapped each in a diaper for 24 hours.

both retained memory for locking/unlocking & all other functions, which was good.

to replace both would have been close to $500.

Bear i didn't i know about the White Rice ! I would have steered the OP in that Direction.. I just did want to See that the Card Failed when he put it into his Device.. I will remember that for Future Reference. Can i ask Bear is there instruction on this Procedure.. b33

Azurion told me to do the rice bag thing when I called in my claim. Tried, didn't help. New phone will be here Monday.
