This is all new to me.... I am trying to find any ringtones already downloaded onto the phone. Are there any preloaded or do I have to get ringtones from Verizon?
Settings > Sound Settings > Phone Ringtone.
If you want to get more ringtones for free, I recommend the free app called Zedge, available on Play Store.
