Droid X2 Wifi connection problem after 5/12 update

I have a WRT54G v 6 that has been working well with my Motorola DroidX2 until a recent software upgrade for the X2. Now my X2 will not stay connected to WiFi no matter what I do. I got a replacement phone…same problem. Is this a known problem? Should I upgrade my router or dump the phone? I am in a 3G dead zone so I need WiFi.

i've got an older version/2.4 of the same router & my droid x only connects with wep, nothing else.

with gb & other updates i have never had a problem connecting to the router & i use ch 11.

THX for your response...in the interim I went to the basic linksys setup and re-entered all the parameters and it now works using WPA2...not sure what the problem was, but it seems I am now good to go!
