Does anyone know how we could downgrade back to GB ? Cuz ICS sux!
No, you can't revert back to Gingerbread. The only way possible is to void the warranty of the device and discussion of which isn't allowed here thanks to the Terms of Service.
I hope we can go back because it really has screwed my phone up. Hope someone can answer your concerns.
Same here since updating to ics my phone has screw up.
Thank Ann for the help :smileyhappy:..

And even then I don't think it is possible!
A few weeks ago I accidentally 'upgraded' to something..not sure what but a completely different look and feel of the OS. If it's ICS...I hate it too! Ugh...I was hoping I could uninstall. Does anyone know how to look for the OS version on Razr Maxx?
Menu button > settings > about phone
it is possible.....but it can't be discussed and i wouldn't recommend doing so.
Anyone have any luck? I don't really want to go back, I like many of the ICS features, what I don't like are all the problems I'm having, inability to coherently text or respond to emails, I've hard and soft reset, removed apps, done everything I've been advised but not happy at all. As a professional who relies on my phone I'm looking incompetent. I would love to have the screen move when I swipe to a screen, not have the camera open when I touch the gallery, not have the alarm open when I am touching the email icon, etc. This is just horrible.
@IKK - blow away the Dalvik cache - if that doesn't work, do a FDR w/o restoring apps/data. You'll be much happier...
Cache Wipe:
Does it wipe out everything or just requires to put in passwords again when you go to my web sites like twitter and Facebook?
On a Cache Clear you don't need to Re-Inter the Password's bulldog.. It just cleans B33 :smileyhappy:
Once the device is on the ICS kernel, it cannot be reverted, ever. Even through methods that cannot be discussed in the forums, it still can't be done. Sorry, you are stuck with ICS. Here's hoping Verizon and/or Motorola come up with a kernel update bug fix for the .211 kernel.
I tried this and it didn't help. I did a factory reset and it didn't help. Looks like to we are at the mercy of waiting for the next update.
I will try this and hope it works. Ever since my software updated I have had problems with my battery draining very quickly. I've tried everything else and nothing seems to help, and I HATE IT. I loved my phone before the update, so hopefully they will get a fix for it very soon.
I'm still in the same boat. It's not as bad as the last phone, but now I'm on my second replacement Razr and a new SIM card and the screen and functions are still schizy at best. I do have to say customer service on the phone was really nice and we chatted but according to him this isn't an issue being reported. When I said it's all over their own forums and Android boards he said they aren't allowed to read them??? OK - either the employees are sheep or they won't admit it. There was a CNET or similar article, so sorry I didn't cut and paste the link, that said there is probably an update. What kills me is I love the phone and got the ICS update on a Sunday, had the features down by that night and decided there was a lot of slick things I liked, and then it went to he**. It seems so simple, like it was pushed out without review, and the motorola site was no help at all so IMHO, call customer service and request a new SIM card and phone because I cleaned every history, cache, factory reset, etc and threw my hands up in the air. Here's hoping.
