After ICS update Rezound will not connect to Apple WiFi ???

My update came 8/19. The 1st thing I noticed after the update was that my Rezound would not connect to my home wifi which just happens to be an Apple modem. I have tested it at various locations & it will connect, unless Apple wireless is involved. Never had a problem until the update. I have spent over 3 hrs on the phone with Verizon (waiting for a return phone call from tech support w/in 5 days now)...yea!! I have called Apple & HTC. Everyone is clueless. Since I had to change plans I really don't want to use"data" when I should be able to use "wifi". I have done multiple factory resets, removed sim card, rest wifi...you name it & I have probably done it several times. I need help, if anyone has any suggestions, please share them. No sense in having a smartphone if it will not connect to my wifi.

HTC says I have to wait for an update to this update. Verizon is going to

send me a Razr, but honestly I love my Rezound. I just bought this in July.

I really do not want a Razr, but do want WiFi to be able to connect at my

house.

Verizon did send me another Rezound & New SIM card , but it would not work

either. It already had ICS update on the replacement. Needless to say I

returned this phone & kept mine.

Any suggestions? I just don't know what else to do :smileysad:

It is official...phones with ICS update will NOT connect to Apple routers. I have tried 2 Rezound & a RAZR. Guess it is time to invest in a new router or an iPhone. It is sad that after buying a new phone 6 weeks before the update went thru I now have no choice but to replace a perfectly good router because of a GOOGLE update. Actually 2 routers because my daughter's having the same issue. Oh well, all a part of our wonderful technical world.

OK..I STAND CORRECTED . Visited another friend with Apple (yes there are alot of ppl with Apple products) & my phone worked. I bought a new Apple router & YES my WiFi now works on my phone. My old router was 6 years old & since I had never had problems before the ICS update I never thought twice about it. Though it had all the firmware updates I guess that just was not enough. I'm am now a happy camper. All the other glitches are minor after spending 2 weeks resolving this. Just wanted to share this.
