I have had the droid since January 2011, the first one had the power port fail. It would not recognize the connected power source. The replacement I received in August of 2011 did not include a replacement battery, is now recognizing the power source attached but it is not charging. About 2 days ago (4/16/12) I noticed the back of the unit got very very hot but the charging issue didn't start until last evening (4/18/2012) Did the battery go bad?
