Message Notifications through my Blackberry

Every time I get a message notification through my e-mail or a text message, my Blackberry makes two beeping noises and that's it. I know there's a way of changing how often I get a notification if I don't check it whether its a one time thing, every 5 minutes, 15 minutes, etc.

Anyone can help me out here?

What I'm trying to say is that when I first bought my blackberry, I had an option somewhere on the blackberry that if I get an e-mail or text message, the blackberry beeps every 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or beeps just once.

I know there's an option for that but I cannot find it.

Hey,

I have looked all through my Tour to find such a way as you described for making alerts to be timed, but I can not find any way. I did find an app that will do that in Blackberry App World called Missed Call Alert. It seems to do all of what you described.

I use BerryBuzz. You can set it for as many or as few or none, for reminders, plus you can set certain colors to blink if you don't want noise going off everytime you get an email or message.

It's not so much I want a missed call alert application. I was hoping to find something that's already installed on my blackberry that alerts me more than once if I get an e-mail or text message.
