Hi everyone, I have been using my Droid Razr just fine, but noticed lately that whenever I connect to wi-fi, the Google Search stops working. When I tunr off wi-fi, it works just fine. Please help.
Thanks!
Brian
Give these two things a Try First Go to the Browser as soon as it Pops Up Tap your Settings-->Then More-->Go all the Way to the Bottom of the Page to-->Settings from there go Privacy Settings--> tap Clear All this will clear all the Browser History after your Done hit the home Button
Another you can do is Go to settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications--then Select All ten scroll to Google search tap to go in an Clear the Cache then the Data then Hit home an if you want Do a Soft reset then give this a Go again..b33
Just an odd thought. Maybe check your wifi to see if Google is blocked. I know on my own wifi I can block specific web sites. Maybe for some odd reason someone may have blocked Google.
B33, thanks for the advice. Tried each of those ideas and still not working.
Good idea drum_jumper...i will give it a shot.
where do you find that info?
Whoops sorry.. thought that might Help! :smileysad: try again next time..b33 :smileyhappy:
I have cleared my cache, uninstalled any app killers, and still, no Google Search! The other Google apps work that have been installed- what gives?
Hello happy community members,
As I eagerly await your replies then I can customize a solution for you. In the meantime, below are some troubleshooting steps that you can try.
As always, I suggest backing up all of your personal information prior to completing a hard reset. Once you have done so then there is a brief tutorial that will assist in setting up your device. After the device is setup, please test all voice and data services for full functionality prior to re-adding your personal info back to the phone. If the Google Search is still an issue then please provide your findings as any new information may be valuable in achieving a solution. I look forward to hearing from the two of you.
Thank you...
