Recent problems?

I recently had to replace my Droid X with a certified pre-owned because it wouldn't make phone calls, send text messages, or update. Now with the certified pre-owned I am having the same problems again. Is anyone else having any issues, and do you have any possible solutions?

That’s not good! We all rely on our phone to stay connected so I definitely understand your concern. But don’t worry @scaryspice because I’m here to help!



Where are you located (city, state, zip code)? Are you getting an error message when trying to place a call or send a text? Do you have other lines unable to make/receive call or text?



Try removing the battery for a minute or two and retest. You can also trying running the phone in safe mode http://bit.ly/qndXiA. If the issue stops while in safe mode then the issue is being caused by a 3rd party app. You will need to uninstall these apps and reinstall them one at a time to determine which one is causing the problems.
