reboot the htc rhyme phone

Hello, I am trying to reboot this phone to erase my information from the phone because I'm giving it to my mom. I read the book that comes with it but it does not tell you how to put the phone back like it was new. any help would be appreciated.:smileyhappy:

From your homescreen, press menu>settings>privacy>factory data reset.

Edit: might be under security instead of privacy, can't remember.
