V: 6.16.211.XT912 upgrade.

Ever since I upgraded to the newest version, I get this anoying female voice repeating "Verizon Wireless" Ad Nauseum! This is the same voice that preceeded an incoming call in the previous version. How do I cancel this anoying / repeating "verizon wireless" message? HELP! (Other than that, I like the features!)

Here is what it is it's your Caller ID And it's in Call Settings Go to Settings Call settings Tap to Go in Scroll up to Other Call Settings Caller ID Read Out Then Choose Ring Only..

Update: In the New update you just Done that Option has Changed a Bit it's Now in Accessibility--> Go to Settings--> Then Accessibility--> The one with the White Hand Blue Back Ground Tap on it Scroll up till you come to Caller ID read Out and Tap that then Choose Ring Only. And that should Get it..b33:smileyhappy:

Hrmm, do you have any Siri-like applications installed? I had one(can't remember which, I tried several)on mine and IT was doing this auto-announce thing. Drove me nuts too lol!

You'll have to help me out here, what is a "Siri-like application" ?? Any examples??

The voice command personal assistant apps like cluzee, speaktoit, assistant, there are a ton of them - apps that you speak/talk with to have an action done, update facebook, read SMS messages or emails, get directions, etc...

What is your setting for the default sound for notifications (SETTINGS- SOUND-DEFAULT)

I thought of this, but none of my assigned sounds are the "verizon wireless" statement.. I'm set for "bells" for notifications..
