Thunderbolt keeps downloading applications

My HTC Thunderbolt is just over 1 year old and recently it has been downloading applications and adverts on its own - its is becoming frequent - maybe 5-8 per day.

I use Pandora about 9 or 10 hours per day - could it come form this?

Is there a way that I can stop these apps and adverts downloading?

Any help would be great!

It MIGHT be Pandora, but more than likely you've gotten another application from the market that is downloading this stuff. I don't use Pandora so I don't know if it's been doing it, but I tried to download a Pinterest app once and had the same problem start up.

yeah.....some apps come with push ads. if you have used pandora for a while without this issue, then i would suspect it's not pandora. have you recently downloaded any new apps (like right before this started)? if so, i would uninstall those apps.
