Setting up a home network using Gateway netbook with embedded 3G as the internet source

I Have a Gateway Netbook with embedded 3G. How can I set this up as my internet source adn network to my other laptop that has an embedded w-fi card only. Do I have to sign up for an additonal service from verizon? I already have National Access Mobile Broadband.

Do you have a wireless router available?  You cannot connect to a wireless card in another computer as it is not a wireless access point.  However, there is a strong possiblity that you could take a wireless acces point and hook it up to your netbook and set up the network to share and server the internet to the router and then to the other computer.  Might be easier to get another wireless verizon data card for the other computer.
