Just got the new razr and I keep getting notifications for apps, about 5/6 a day.
How do I turn that off?
you don't turn it off.
menu/manage apps, open one at a time & uninstall last update. do this for all of them. after a few times, mine stopped updating/notification.
Open the Play Store, press menu, settings and turn off notifications.

The option to turn off the notifications of application updates has been available in the Market/Play Store application for some time. It might have been there when my Droid Eris was on Eclair (Android 2.1).
