Am roaming in Indonesia and to dial to US, VW instructions say to dial "+" then the number. When I hit Alt and + I just get a zero.

Sorry you are having problems. To get the "+" sign when you dial, press the left shift key (the one the capitalizes letters) and then the plus sign. That should to it...and welcome to the Verizon forums.
