What happened to the notifications button? Can't clear text threads...

What happened with this recent update? The phone worked just fine and now, the buttons, and a number of options have been either eliminated or disappeared somewhere into the Verizon thin air?? I don't see a support option to find out where everything went to. PANIC!

Not sure exactly what you may be asking, but it sounds as though you are looking to clear certain notifications in the notification tray. The eliminated the 'X' next to each notification in place of using a swipe feature. If you want to clear a notification, simply swipe to the right to clear it. If you are clearing all the clearable notifications, simply tap the red 'X' in the upper corner. Yes, some things changed but are still there. They are just different now. You may want to try Googling ICS for Razr. There are tutorial videos out there that show you what these changes are. I hope this helps.

Gmy5, I can certainly help figure out what happened to all your buttons and options. As the others have stated, the majority of the options are still there, but the process to get to them may have changed. Drum_thumper gave some great info on the notifications. Are you trying to clear the text notifications or a whole thread? To clear threads, you can either tap & hold that message or press Menu then Delete & select the Messages you want to delete. For support on specific features you can visit vzw.com/support and complete a search for things you're looking for.
