Can I forward my cell calls to another phone number temporarily? How do I do this from a basic phone?
To activate call forwarding using the phone that you want calls forwarded from:
dial *72
enter the number where calls are to be forwarded
press 'send' and wait for tone/message
press 'end'
To de-activate call forwarding:
dial *73

I am not sure about doing it from the phone, but if you signed into your MyVerizon account, and went down to DEVICE under the "I Want To" section, there is an option there to do a forwarding.
