Phone works but screen won't appear..What happened?

I was using an app and when I went to the home screen the screen started to flicker. I turned the phone off but when I tried to turn it on it doesn't bring the screen up. I tried removing the batterry and letting the battery die, but that didn't work.

Let's work together to get this fixed. Here are a few things that have been proven successful in turning on your phone screen:



> Hold your volume down and power key together for about 10 seconds.

> Plug your phone into a different charging source.
