Has anyone tried to improve 4G Wireless modem with an antenna such as the one in my profile pic? The usaable distance from device is also very short too, don't you think? Would appreciate any advice. I'm in a basement and cannot move computer fromn it's current location ( wrong end of house for better reception ) . Thanks, Elmer

I have never seen that particular antenna and I thought I had seen them all. If you want to get 4G in the basement, you most likely will need some kind of external antenna. Maybe even a signal booster or repeater. Make sure your modem has an external antenna jack....if it dosen't, then an antenna won't work for you, you will have to go with a signal booster or repeater.
