Is it weird that my replacement phone has no LED light? -Droid 2

I got a replacement phone for VZW the other day, and I noticed that this one has NO LED notification light, like my old one did. Is that normal? Because I really miss that thing :smileysad: It sucks having to turn on the display every time I want to know if I have a new message or not.

Hello heartriot,

I love the LED notification light function as well.  Your LED light should be working on your device.  If you can not get it working by removing the battery you would need to do a factory reset.  The reset will erase everything on the device so please be sure to back up the device prior.  You can follow the visuals here to complete the reset.  Remember to dial *228 send option 1 to program after the reset is done.  Please let me know if this addresses the LED concern.  Thank you.
