Syncing my blackberry to outlook without losing past calendar events

I need to sync my blackberry storm with outlook on my PC.  When I sync all past calendar events are deleted from both the blackberry and the computer.  I want to save all events.  Please help!!!  I am new to the blackberry, blogging, texting, etc.

Hi,

Open Calendar on your device.  Press the Menu key.  Go to General Calendar Options.  Go down to Keep Appointment and select how long you want to keep past appointments, in your case, select Forever.  This is probably not a good idea on your Blackberry to keep past appointments for so long on your device.  The reason is that as time goes by, those appointments will start to eat away at your memory on your device, thus slowing down your system's performance.  Just a little tip.
