Blackberry Torch 9850 turns on by itself

One of the partners here at work is having an issue with his Torch 9850, we have been in court and have turned off the phone before going in and in the middle of court the phone has turned itself back on and we have had it actually make a sound for a notification or an incoming call. I've checked the auto on/off and it is not enabled.

Any help would be greatly apprectiated.

Thanks for posting! I’ve researched the issue that’s being experienced with the device and this is not commonly reported. Please make sure the phone’s End/Power key is not being pressed against anything that may cause it to turn on. For example if it’s in their pocket or purse. Let us know if the issue continues so we can further investigate.
