Why is there a triangle in the top of my screen next to the battery? Any one elses phone have this?

Yes, I've seen this on my thunderbolt, strangely enough, at times. It may happen when the phone is being authenticated with the tower.
Yes, it is a blinking triangle , it is at the top of the screen next to the 3g indicator
