htc incredible 2 system issue

every five seconds for the past ten minutes my phone has been comin up with one of those force close things but it say that the application is "phone" i cant get it to go away. i click force close and it just pops up again. i have turned the phone off and back on twice and now i just have it off hoping it will fix itself:/

someone please tell me what i can do to fix it.

Have you recently installed any third party apps?  It sounds like you have a conflict with an app that's loaded into the system.  Go into settings and make sure you have the latest System OS update.  Then start by removing recent apps that you installed when the problem began.  I have heard of this problem happening in two instances.  One, a virus has been picked up.  Second, apps were downloaded from the internet or from a third party store where compatibility isn't tested.  You can go to the Google Play store and lookup the apps  and it will tell you if they are compatible with your phone.
