DRIOD by Motorola "low on space" notification fix??

Hey guys I have a droid by motorola phone that keeps getting a "low on space" notification and says 'phone storage space is getting low'.  I don't know what to do to fix this.  I am not very technical, so is there an easy way to fix this without having to delete alot of stuff off of my phone?  Is there an app or a web site that I can go to to that can fix this for me??? Ya'lls help with this is greatly appreciated.  Thank You. ;0)

Clear the cache. Settings > applications < manage applications > all tab > menu button > sort by size.

Clean out the trash folder in the email app.

Start there and you can search the community for additional steps if you still get the low space message.
