Otterbox case

Ive been looking to get a new case for my razr maxx. Ive had 2 of the hard shell cases that have the kickstand on it. The only problem is the kick stand broke on both of them. I dont think ill try a third even though the kickstand is a nice feature. Im looking at the otterbox defender and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on this or maybe on another brand. Thanks . Well i went to mall to check out the cell phone case kiosks. Not one place had any case of any quality. I went straight to a verizon store and got the defender case by otterbox. Im happy with it even at 50 bucks. Its very heavy duty and looks well built. Jesse

You're lucky that you didn't purchase a case from a mall kiosk. I did, a few years ago, for my Droid X. Once I put the phone in the case, I had problems. Programs started to pop up, programs that I did not even use. I thought that it was the phone and took the phone back to Verizon. They looked at the phone and then the case I bought and told me it was the case. Something to do with the magnet which holds the case cover closed, being in such a position as to interfere with the phone. I purchased a case at the Verizon store and the problems vanished. As for the Otter case. I bought one on day one when I got my Razr Maxx. It makes the phone a bit bulkier, but I love the case. I was caught in a deluge the other day (first rain in about 3 months) and the phone remained bone dry. I've dropped the phone a couple of times, not from huge heights, maybe three foot drops, and not even a dent (or cracked screen). It is well worth the price for peace-of-mind guarantee.

Jesse the Best place to get a Case for the your Phone as you Did. Is at the Corporate stores the Reason i say this they can assist you if you need assistance putting your phone in the Case. Or if and when you should have a issue with the Case the Store will help with fixing it. I get all of my cases for my phones at the Corp stores for one thing the Warranty they usually carry a 1 year warranty on the Product Can't beat that.. you did good b33 :smileyhappy:

Your right about the case being a bit thicker but actually i really like thye feel better with the case. I know they are supposed to be sturdy phones but as thin as they are really how sturdy could it be. With the case on i know it will take everyday use in stride along with the occasional slips that happen. i used to use the kickstand alot when i would use my phone to watch hbo go or webtop through the hdmi cord. Since i nolonger have the kickstand i purchased a samsung smart tv with built in wifi so i dont need to use the hdmi cord anymore. Now i can leave my phone anywhere. i really didnt get the tv because of the kickstand issue but you should have seen the look on

my girlfreinds face when i told her that was the reason. Jesse
