even if they are in my contacts. Instead I get "unknown caller". How can I fix this?

all of them that I have tried. Doesn't show non-contact caller numbers either.
I wonder if your caller ID got turned off somehow. I think it is something you can check with your MyVerizon account and looking at the features on your line. You can also call customer service from your Verizon phone at *611 or 1-800-922-0204 from another phone.
I share a plan with my wife and under the features for her line it shows an option of getting caller ID. I switch back over to my line and there is no option for the feature of caller ID.
it doesn't have anything to do with share name id, atleast not in this situation. just call customer service at 800-922-0204 and ask the rep to add the "caller id" feature back to your account. it is a free feature, but on rare occasions falls off. causes all calls to show on your phone as unavailable.
Well What it Does from the Way i took it you can Set your Name up on it an when you make a Call like at Home it Will Announce you as Say like you Put Cookie Man as your Share Name it will Announce you as this as Just to Wireless Caller.
