But here's the catch. It's not because of an issue with the phone itself.
I was told by some of the Verizon staff, who's performance at helping me with this situation was terrible at best, that it was an issue with my existing phone number. They told me that everyone one with the area code 570 and a number starting with 479 was having trouble transfering their numbers to new phones. It was a big slap in the face to buy a $600 phone and then being told that I can't use it. I continued to question them about it and they told me it would be fixed within 2 days because it's a "top priority" for them. Well I guess not because it has been a week and my Droid still can't make a call or send or recieve texts.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or are they just trying to lie to me to cover up an issue with the actual phone?
